Jump off rock

Jump Off Rock is a scenic overlook which provides a panoramic view of rolling pastures, the Blue Ridge and Pisgah mountain ranges. It is only 5 miles from Hendersonville, NC, where we picked up a load this morning.
Legend has it that more than 300 years ago a young Indian maiden leapt from this rock to her death when she learned that her lover, a Cherokee chief, had been killed in battle.
