Beware: this stuff is the devil!
40 saltine crackers
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 bag chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 425. Line a cookie sheet with foil, Spray with a non stick spray. Line the bottom of the pan with saltines.
In a medium saucepan melt butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
Boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour over crackers. Bake for2- 4 minutes until bubbly , watch to avoid burning.
Remove from the oven and pour choc. Chips over the top. As the chips melt, use the back of a spoon to smooth out and spread.
Put in freezer until cold.
Remove from freezer and peel off the foil.
Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container or ziplock bag.
Don't worry, it won't last long.
