Emotions

I am starting to feel mixed emotions. I am excited, nervous, sad (about leaving friends, family, home) happy about being with Pops, unsure (like jumping off a cliff in the dark.) Every minute it seems like I am feeling something different.
I think that the packing is done. We have just about everything in the dumpster that we are getting rid of. I am worried that I will be forgetting something. I think our first trip we will be out about a month.
We still have to do the closing on our home refinance and they want to do it Monday, Oct. 4th. Well, we will be out by then. So we need to get that worked out.
Pops is still waiting for his new glasses. They are supposed to be in this week. Hopefully by Wed. so we can get them picked up.
I have ordered the new First Place book, "Walking in Grace." Just in case we don't get in before our study group starts the new study and the book is back-ordered. Will it come this week so that I have it in time?
I am so happy that Bill and Starla are ready to move in here. That makes my mind at ease some.
The boys are planning to move to temporary housing before winter. Or maybe permenant if Drew finds a house to buy. (I hope that is the case.) Please keep them in your prayers for that endeavor.
I am really going to miss my church family so much. They are the glue that keeps me together. I sure hope that I can stay in touch by computer with them. But I still haven't decided which way to go with the aircard or satellite. I need unlimited access, but don't want to sign into a long contract. I will miss our Sunday dinners, my First Place sisters, Wayne's preaching, Coffee Breaks, all the fellowship and even the work days,...not.
I love all of you and hope and pray that you will think of me often and keep us in your prayers.
I will miss my sister, who says she already misses me. Of course she does. But I trust that she will stay in touch. I am so glad that you go to Laurel Highlands Church. Let them be your family. Let them love you as I know they will. Be a true sister to them too.
I will miss so many of you, but I hope you will visit our blog and keep up with us.
Love, Noni

Happy for you, but sad to see you out of the area. Even though we didn't see much of each other, it was a comfort to know you were close by. Change is always hard. When you do get home, where will "home" be?

Okay...you're making me cry! I will definitely be following your blog. So much to let go...so much up ahead! I think it is awesome that you and Bill will be doing this together.

I am thankful that your sister is with us...we love her (and Kacey) dearly!! I know she's going to miss you but I know that she'll be excited for you too.

Much, much love to you and Bill! :)
