4 cups flour

4 cups quick oats

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 pkg. chocolate chips

1 cup chopped nuts

1 cup butter

1 cup Crisco

2 cups brown sugar

2 cups white sugar

2 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

Mix up the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl.

In another bowl mix the remaining ingredients, then combine and blend the two mixtures.

Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
